Specialist Therapy Services
"Creating Connections That Last a Lifetime"
The sessions were always looked forward to by myself and my son. The recommendations were taken on at home and school which are working well. Scarlett was fantastic, she has a natural personality and has a very good way with children. J has found the sessions fun and has worked well with Scarlett. This has helped us to deal with issues and problems with his behaviour in a more positive way at home and school. Thank you.
We have enjoyed all the sessions we had and learned a lot of ways to improve muscle tone and behaviour through the training. The recommendations have been put in place in home and school and have been working well. Thank you for the support, it has helped so much.
Well today is B’s first day at High School and he is wearing a shirt and tie! This would never have been possible without your help and support over the years, the work you have done with B has been life changing for us both. I never in a million years thought this would be my boy on his first day at school…You are a Star.
I have always had an excellent working relationship with Scarlett. It is clear from the regular monitoring meetings that we have that Scarlett is passionate about providing a sensory integration therapy service which aims to meet the outcomes of children, young people and their families. From the monitoring meetings it is evident that Scarlett has a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the children and young people that are on her current and previous caseload. All written reports including monitoring, assessment, intervention and updates for annual reviews are completed to a high standard. The requirements for future Sensory Integration therapy (if necessary) is clearly set out and certainly helps me as a commissioner of the service to plan ahead. There are many occasions where therapy is needed to continue urgently or an assessment is needed. Scarlett has always tried to accommodate these requests at short notice and has provided realistic timescales of when our requirements are likely to be actioned. I have found Scarlett to be pleasant, open and honest and not afraid to inform families when Sensory Integration Therapy is no longer appropriate for their child. Feedback is obtained at quarterly monitoring meetings and evidence has been submitted from families who are complementary of the service that has been provided. I am aware that training has been provided to professionals, particularly in educational settings and this is also well received. I hope this continues for years to come.
